The foundation of ART NYC is to award artists to participate in the 100 Challenge.
We are pleased to publish the results of "100 (Days of Writing and 100 Scrawls) Challenge." Artists participating in the 100 Challenge must write, draw, scribble, photograph, and more continuously for 100 days in an open ended manner. (There is no restriction on the form or the content of this creative endeavor).
Artists find that, in completing this 100-day challenge, their world and inner vocabulary have grown in substance. The challenge allows artists to uncover their hidden visions and ideas, and bring about ways to creatively engage with the public through social media.
We hope that more artists will participate in discovering and developing their possibilities and feel the process of growing independently.
You can check out the work of artists currently in progress or finished. Artists who complete the 100 Challenge can participate in our upcoming exhibitions and rewrites of our publications.
How to apply
WHO CAN APPLY?
We welcome international emerging, mid-career, established visual artists and designers, poets/writers, makers, architects, and scientists! Let us know what you’re into and why 100 Challenge is fit. National and international creatives are encouraged to apply.
HOW DO I APPLY?
We receive and review applications via email. (Info@artnycnewyork.com)
Make sure to attach the receipt for the participation fee you paid. If you don't attach the receipt, the screening will not proceed.

-Applications for the Autumn 2025 program open on May 1, 2025, and close on May 31, 2025.
