When I had to choose my major as a child, I was vaguely fascinated by the three-dimensional nature of sculpture. That’s why I chose to study sculpture and worked on three-dimensional pieces for a long time.
In recent years, however, I’ve become increasingly interested in painting and two-dimensional works. Especially in traditional Asian painting and printmaking.
In 2025, I had a wonderful opportunity to take classes in drypoint and linocut printmaking. Through this experience, I discovered that there are many different types of printmaking and a wide range of expressive techniques.
My two-dimensional works using various media will continue to evolve.
