Dolmen in Çatalhöyük and an obsession with matter
The moment when the obsession with matter is revealed seems to be when the feeling of regret is created. There are moments when you feel like you are losing money and feeling like you are being damaged. There are moments when it is considered unfair damage even though it is tiny, and it is believed that you have not benefited.
At first, they were all nice. They were trying to be considerate of each other and kind, but over time, they felt invaded or profiting off the territory, and when they felt like they were getting a little bit of damage, people changed their attitudes.
Even if you're generous with other things, your nature is revealed when you feel like you're losing even a little bit, especially when it comes to money or material things.
It is tough to maintain one's dignity despite the poor economic situation. Only when you realize that the universe is rich do you consistently apply an attitude not obsessed with matter to your life?
These emotions are more evident in the case of artists. They talk and act as if they are detached from matter and focus on art, but sometimes, they react sensitively to minimal expenditures. For example, an artist must receive unconditional support. Still, the artist thinks it is a waste to pay for the application, so they postpone the exhibition without any support or think they will produce a work if someone creates an exhibition. It is only natural for an artist to receive social support. However, this is not always acceptable. When an artist does something creative and has created or is deemed likely to remain a public good in this society, they deserve support from a public announcement. There are more passive artists than expected who don't do anything while waiting for someone to apply. I think this is one of the attitudes of being obsessed with material. Spending my money and time on my creation is a waste.
Can we call a person like this an artist?
