Marcus Aurelius was one of the most extraordinary emperors of the Roman Empire. Epictetus lived as an enslaved person for 30 years but later greatly influenced Aurelius. Seneca served as the emperor's teacher, playwright, and political commentator, and Cleantes was also a boxer and water giver. Christos was a long-distance runner, Posidonius was a diplomat, and Musonius Lupus was a teacher.
Stoic philosophers worked in a variety of professions across different walks of life. Nonetheless, the fact that they all followed this philosophy means that Stoic philosophy is universal and applicable to any life.
Stoic philosophy contains timeless wisdom.
Are you fighting a winning battle every day?
How to greet the morning like an iron emperor, beat sleep.
Say 'no' to the power of rejection.
Acknowledge the same, but act differently.
Make clear the intent of the action.
Who am I? Find the reason for existence.
Reject pleasure.
Where to look.
To have an unshakable mind.
Escape doesn't solve anything.
How to gain peace of mind.
The only thing you can control is your mind
How to be the master of my life.
Eutimia Euthymia: a belief in oneself and that it is on the right path. Look at the path in all directions as hope, not as doubt.
If you don't know why, you don't know how.
Start for now. The rest follows.
Choice determines fate.
The past is only the past.
