Emile Azar: "The Life Before Us."
What is reality?
Defining reality in art has been described in various ways as times change. However, the important fact is how I can feel my reality sensibly rather than how I define it in art. Many people mistake external things as being themselves, such as their achievements, called positions or clothes worn by others, for real.
Why always lack of love for us? What is a state of love?
It is said that the state of true love is not judged. It does not judge right or wrong or good or bad but accepts all.
Since birth, we have struggled to be loved. We cry and laugh to take care of ourselves. Then, as we grow up, we try hard to be recognized. You have to be good at sports and studying so you are recognized and loved by Sun San and your friends. After you become an adult, you must succeed professionally and be recognized for your excellent intellectual ability as a professional or make good money. All of this is an instinctive struggle to gain love from others. In this way, humans try to be loved by others all their lives, but they also seek the object because they want to give love to someone. This is the core of our hearts.
People cannot live without someone to love. This is the last verse of Emile Azar's novel "The Life Before Us."
Humans want to give love, be in a relationship, get married, and have children. The love of family is so instinctive that it is also a fatal weakness for us. In this way, people constantly search for something to love, the beginning, process, and result of our lives. Will we know true love if we find ourselves in love itself?
To reach this state of love for an artist, to achieve the state of not judging himself or any object, to realize that you don't have to struggle to get love because you are love itself. Unfortunately, the artist's struggle to be loved is well revealed in the work. It feels uncomfortable somewhere and feels like salt-free food. The state of not judging whether this heart is good or bad is a state of true love, and the artist struggles all his life to reach this state. Isn't the masterpiece born the moment you get that state? It is said that I only want to give love if I already know the love inside me. We don't have to struggle to be loved because we already have it. It feels like the word of God you hear in church, but when you realize this, you become free.
When will I be able to reach that state of mind?
