The National Art Club is one of the oldest social clubs in New York that boasts a history and tradition. As with almost all social clubs, it operates as a membership, and membership is a thoroughly connected social club that requires recommendations from two or more existing members. Since photography and phone calls are strictly prohibited inside the club, the members cannot take pictures inside the bar and restaurant. Therefore, I have only the reception and lecture room photos.

Today, there was a lecture on 19th-century contemporary photography for the USPAP appraisal. USPAP is an authoritative appraisal agency recognized in the United States and worldwide as an institution that educates and certifies appraisers. Passing the test after completing the curriculum qualifies you to provide personal asset appraisal services. Still, you can only be recognized as a true expert after five to 10 years because you can only become a full member after 120 hours of course time. This is because so many people give up halfway. The story of the Paul Allen collection, which recently achieved the highest auction price with many works, has emerged as a hot topic. Paul Allen, the co-founder of Microsoft, has a high-quality art collection, which caught fire in November when 100% of the works released through Christie’s were sold at a considerable price. Thanks to this, Christie’s had the highest sales since it opened and enjoyed the joy of topping the auction’s sales list by beating Sotheby’s, the undisputed No. 1 seller. It is said that all the profits are donated to charity.
