“Black and white, contraction and expansion, inversion exist in opposition yet simultaneously, and it is within that tension and balance that the flow of the world and life is created.”
I believe that human life is a coexistence of plus and minus, of fulfillment and lack, and other opposites. This aspect is very similar to the Eastern philosophy of Yin and Yang. Yin and Yang are opposites but can never be separated, and one must exist for the other to have meaning. In other words, joy and sorrow, success and failure, life and death, all experiences reveal their value through each other and form a life of balance and harmony.
All existence and events are relative and interdependent, and the simultaneous presence of opposites completes the overall meaning. I believe that nothing has a fixed answer because things can always change, and there will inevitably be instances where opposites complement each other.
