“The Breath of the Sun, and the Small Light That Passes Beside It”

This small drawing began with a single drop of ink. The ink that fell onto the paper was not a simple stain, but something that spread as if it were trying to become a universe of its own. The radiant energy rising from the edge of the spreading ink resembles the fierce surface of the sun, and the small dot beside it appears like a comet or a star gliding close to the sun. The distance and relationship between the two shapes seem simple, yet they actually hold the movement of immense energy.

To me, the sun is the center. It is the place where all time begins and the place to which all emotions and memories return. The light that flows from the center of life is not constant. At times it trembles explosively, and at other times it settles quietly. The ink spreading on the paper behaved in the same way. It flowed in unpredictable directions, paused, spread again, and created its own form.

The small dot beneath the sun is a fragment of energy left behind by my experiences. It is the trace of a moment that has passed and a shard of memory that will someday rise again. It is very small, yet it remains connected to a powerful center. Like a tiny planet that cannot escape the sun’s gravity, I too am influenced by the center of the time I have lived through. The center pulls me inward, and I move around it, drawing yet another orbit.
