“Visible” or “Tangible / Perceptible to the eye”

Visible means “able to be seen” — something that appears or manifests physically or perceptibly.

 The word “visible” is probably one of the most commonly used terms in writing about art. It can also be used as a very basic way to describe my own work. However, I always find myself questioning whether I truly understand the meaning of that word.
