Etch-a-Sketch

I'm coming to realize that this fascination with these rectilinear forms may originate with the Etch-a-Sketch that I had as a kid. Drawing them feels somewhat machinic, the rigidity of the 90° movements. The arm moves in an unnatural, non-fluid manner. But what comes out looks so chaotic that it reminds me of organic patterns.
